Fast Running Super Hero
An early one-tap endless runner across city rooftops with generated routes, trampolines, a jetpack and enemies.
One-tap · endless runner
The game
The hero runs automatically. A single tap determines when and how high he jumps across gaps, obstacles and oncoming monsters. In 2011, this now-familiar runner idea was still unusual.

How it plays
What to expect
Tap or hold
A quick tap jumps; holding goes higher, making controls easy to learn but dependent on timing.
Endless rooftops
A level generator recombines building heights, gaps, coins, obstacles and enemies.
Jetpack and trampoline
Special elements shift the rhythm, enabling very long jumps or short flying sequences.

Runner design before the boom
Fast Running Super Hero arrived before endless runners dominated app stores. Its ad-supported free version and an expanded paid edition with jetpack, trampoline, additional enemies and no advertising also capture the period’s shift from paid apps towards free-to-play.
